Acetylene Gas Plant for Industrial

Acetylene gas plant is high industrial machinery used for generating acetylene, which is also known as a fuel gas. Our manufacturing of the plant is completed with high quality materials that meet the world-class quality standards. Acetylene is used with oxygen which is why it is known as an oxy-fuel. Our designing and manufacturing is finished with flawless precision and technique to ensure reliability, durability and uninterrupted performance. Acetylene gas has the capability to maintain high temperature flame making it suitable for the metal fabrication industry. Applications include welding, brazing, heat treating and cutting. The fuel gas is also needed in the making of plastics and chemicals. Leading quality assurance companies endorse the quality of our products because of our strict compliance with quality standards including SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance).

Why We Use Acetylene Gas?

It is used because it is the only gas that has the capacity to produce a flame with temperature up to 3,500 °C. As it able to produce the hottest flame, it is seen as the best suited fuel gas for welding, cutting and heating metals. The use of the gas also gives you the ability for achieving the quickest pre-heating. During cutting of the surface it produces very slight hardening as compared to the other gases. The aforesaid characteristics of acetylene gas find their full utilization in applications like cutting, heat treating and welding. Amongst numerous other applications, the oxy-fuel gas is the most preferred medium of working with metals. It is very important where precision is needed in shaping metals which includes manufacturing of automotive parts and various other industrial processes.

Uses of Acetylene Gas

Welding & Cutting

It is the most common and popular application which is usually called as oxy-fuel cutting. The gas is effective in this application because it is able to generate the highest flame temperature which can ultimately touch 3,500°C. This hot temperature flame will naturally be very fast in cutting with its sharp movements. It is considered a safe if used with proper precautions.

Portable Lighting

Acetylene was used in 1800s to make portable gas lamps known as carbides which were used for lightening up homes, cars, etc. On being mixed with calcium carbide it is known to react with white light generating light which was used for lighting where electricity was not available.

Chemical Production

Acetylene as is used in myriad applications from welding to chemical production of various products such as polymers, perfumes, plastics, etc. The fuel can easily combine with various elements and compounds. It is used on a significant scale in the chemical industry and there are numerous techniques available for producing it, most famous being chemical reacting.

Acetylene Plant for Onsite Generation

We manufacture acetylene gas plant using the ASME certified materials for sturdy performance and durability. Chemical reaction is the process used for generating acetylene gas and is brought about by reacting calcium carbide with water. The reaction also produces a great deal of heat and calcium hydroxide. The heat is moderated using water to avoid fire or explosions. The plant is fabricated with using only the highest quality components bought from the most reputed companies in the industry. Manufacturing is completed in complete compliance with internationally approved standards and practices. The plants are not only manufactured not only with the advanced technology but are also fully customizable as per the requirements and specifications of the clients. Functioning is fully automatic as it is enabled through pneumatically controlled valves and sensors.
